Aixia (“Aixia”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit aixia.shop, request a quote or buy from us, why we collect it, who we share it with and the rights you have. It applies to customers, visitors and business contacts.

Who we share your data with
We never sell your personal data. We share it only where needed to serve you:
- Couriers and logistics partners, to deliver your order.
- Payment providers Alatpay and Wema Bank to process payments securely.
- Manufacturers and authorised service centres, to process warranty claims.
- Website, hosting, email and analytics providers, including Google Analytics, who process data on our instructions.
- Professional advisers and authorities, where the law requires it.
Every provider must protect your data and use it only for the service they provide to us.
Transfers outside Nigeria
Some providers, such as cloud hosting, email and analytics services, may store data outside Nigeria. When this happens, we rely on safeguards permitted by the NDPA, such as adequate protection in the receiving country or contractual protections.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to run the cart, checkout and your account. With your consent, we also use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies in our cookie banner and clear cookies in your browser at any time.
How long we keep your data
- Order, invoice and payment records: 6 years, to meet tax and accounting rules.
- Warranty and support records: for the warranty period plus 1 year.
- Quote requests that did not become orders: 2 years.
- Marketing data: until you unsubscribe.
- Account data: until you ask us to close your account, unless we must keep records for the reasons above.
How we protect your data
Our website uses HTTPS encryption. We restrict access to customer data to staff who need it, use strong passwords and keep our systems updated. If a personal data breach is likely to put your rights at risk, we will notify the Nigeria Data Protection Commission within 72 hours and inform you without undue delay.
Your rights
Under the NDPA, you have the right to:
- Be informed about how we use your data.
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct data that is wrong or incomplete.
- Ask us to delete your data, where we have no legal reason to keep it.
- Restrict or object to how we use your data, including for direct marketing.
- Receive your data in a commonly used format and move it to another provider.
- Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing.
- Not be subject to decisions based only on automated processing that significantly affect you.
To use any of these rights, email supply@aixia.shop or privacy@aixia.shop with the subject “Data request”. We may ask you to confirm your identity and will respond within 30 days.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on our website.
