Mercury 18Ah VRLA battery: reliable backup power
Keep your equipment running when the mains fails. The Mercury 18Ah VRLA battery stores 12V of sealed lead-acid power, so your UPS or backup system keeps working during outages. As a result, you protect your work, your devices and your data. In addition, the sealed design needs no water top-ups, so you spend less time on upkeep.
Why choose this battery?
- 18Ah capacity: The battery stores 216 watt-hours of energy at 12V, so it supports longer runtime than smaller 7Ah and 9Ah batteries.
- Sealed VRLA design: The valve-regulated construction keeps the electrolyte inside, so you do not add water.
- Standard 12V format: The 12V rating suits many UPS units and backup systems that use 12V batteries.
- Easy replacement: You swap the old battery for the new one, so your system returns to full service quickly.
- Available in volume: Aixia holds stock for single units and bulk orders.
Which equipment can use this battery?
The battery suits 12V UPS units, alarm and security systems, and small backup power setups that accept a 12V 18Ah battery. However, equipment differs in voltage, terminal type and battery size. Check your device manual or the label on your old battery before you order. Not sure? Send us your equipment model, and we will confirm the fit before you pay.

Tips for looking after your battery
First, keep the battery in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place, because heat shortens battery life. Next, charge it regularly, so it does not sit empty for long. Also, replace the whole set when you use several batteries together, because a weak battery drags down the others. Finally, dispose of used batteries at a proper recycling point, never with household waste.
