Dell 165W USB-C GaN AC Adapter with Power Cord
Charge your high-performance laptop with a smaller, cooler adapter. The Dell 165W GaN adapter uses gallium nitride (GaN) technology, so it delivers full workstation power in a compact body. As a result, you carry a lighter charger in your bag. In addition, the included UK power cord plugs straight into Nigerian sockets.
Why choose this adapter?
- 165W of power: It supplies the full wattage that demanding laptops need, so your system charges while you work.
- GaN technology: Gallium nitride runs cooler and wastes less energy than older silicon designs, so the adapter stays smaller and more efficient.
- USB-C connection: One standard USB-C connector replaces the old barrel plug, so it suits modern Dell laptops.
- Compact and portable: It measures about 136 x 66 x 22 mm, which makes it easy to keep a second charger at home or in the office.
- Wide voltage input: It works on 100V to 240V mains, so it runs safely on Nigerian power.
- LED status light: A built-in LED shows when the adapter is powered, so you can check it quickly.
- UK power cord included: The cord fits Nigerian sockets, which saves you buying a separate cable.
Which laptops work with the Dell 165W GaN adapter?
This adapter is listed for the Dell Pro Max 16 Plus (MB16250), Pro Max 16 Premium (MA16250), Pro Max 18 Plus (MB18250), and the Precision 5680 and 5690. However, laptops need to accept 165W through USB-C, so check your model before you buy. Using a lower-wattage charger on a high-power laptop can slow charging or stop it. Not sure yours fits? Tips for safer charging
First, plug the adapter directly into a wall socket or a good surge protector, because Nigerian mains can fluctuate. Next, do not cover the adapter while it charges, since it warms up in use. Also, check that your laptop’s USB-C port supports 165W charging. Finally, store the cable loosely, so you do not bend it sharply and damage it.
